Morning all
Karen honestly what we do when having visitors...mind you Im not has bad now...I tidy some then the rest are left..
Saying that I have been tidying things up this morning....both the girls have gone now...so I well me and hubby have had a bit of a tidy...wish I had taken a picture before we did...you wouldn't have believed it..
Nope sit down and relax Karen....hope Tonys parents get there safe and sound..

Hope you are doing okish...if you are anything like me very tired...I dont think we realise how much we do at Christmas...amd I didnt cook..
Today is very quiet here two GDs at mummy's...but Niamh is coming later...thats always fun...
we are still clearing up...what a waist wrapping paper is.....

Evening all. Hope your all ok. Im full of flu again. I must be so run down at the moment. Dr has upped my gabapentin from 300mg to 900mg. I have to up it slowly. Have any of you been on this .

PD I take 300 gabapentin 3 times a day my memory is terrible but I have know choice but take them, I do hope they bring you some relief....and poor you having flu...gosh I used to dread getting it...I have had a flu injection so hopefully not..
I will see you tomorrow we have my youngest son partner and Niamh...there little girl is with her daddy.

Coco, good to see you, but so sorry you have this nasty flu thing. Rest is what you need so please try and take things easy.
Barbara, you have a good rest up to, with this nasty weather it so does affect doesn't it. And with xmas as welll.

Tonies parents are still here(I love them) and they are treating us to a take out tonight.

Karen how lovely that you love Tony's parents...I never had any inlaws..my hubby lost his mum and dad before we were married...he was 18....
You enjoy having them there....its very quiet here i dont like it so quiet.....but at least I can relax.....Im sat here with my wheat cushion on my neck...it so soothing

Barbara, hope you had a good night sleep. Tonies parents have just gone now.

Coco, I hope today you feel a little better. And I do hope that you are taking things a little easier than usual.

Now it's all over, I just want to get back to normal, get the decs down and hope that 2013 is going to be a better year. (but I will leave them up for a little longer for the youngest)

Have put the kettle on and the heating, so it is nice and toast here.

Karen you and me both with the decs...but I had it drummed in me to leave them up till the twelfth night...thats the 6th my eldest sons birthday....oh how I wish I could go against what my lovely Mum said about bad luck...but I cant.....

The weather here has been awful. All night and all day, the wind and rain. So, we have not ventured out at all.

Tony has the dreaded sick bug now. His immune system is shattered so whatever is going around, he will get.

It certainly is a come down isn't it Barbara. We have had a lovely letter we received last Friday, it was to inform Tony that they were stopping his ESA. Well, that means we will be struggling on my money until it is sorted oout. Great start to 2013. It can only get better(cant it). I hope you are all having a relaxing day. Sorry I started it like this, just needed to get it off my chest.

When I was young I had night terrors...or nightmares has they called them....I ended up in hospital quite a few times from being 2 years old....they caused fits .....I still had them when a teenager but by then the fits had disappeared.....well I had one last night and I am in shock....how strange after all these years...it must be the gabapentin.....will be scared of going to bed.....
I hope you all slept wellish...today I am hoping to get out...hubby's is working but hopefully he will finish early

Barbara, that sounds awful. Lets hope in a way it's not the gabepentin because they seem to be helping you. But you dont want nightmares and fits either.

Been out this morning to collect mine and Tonies meds. Whether it is the weather but my neck is really painful. Feels like a sharp object being put in my neck.

Hope everyone is okish. Coco and Elizabeth how are you both doing with the flu. Hoping you both start feeling better soon.

Oh Karen..dont worry I haven't had fits since I was 4....but the dreams are awful ....but I will have to carry on with the gabapentin..
I hope you necks eases up very soon...not sure about you but does it swell up when its painful...its one thing after another....
