Hope you are all okish. Barbara, are you going to speak to your doctor again about the patches. As I said maybe they dont suit you. Let us know how the appointment goes for your little gd wont you.

Coco, lovely to see you. And I do hope as I am writing this that you are vegging out today. You deserve it Coco. Btw, this Bach rescue, do you know whether it really helps, if so, I shall buy some. I had a look in boots the other day, but saw the Bach stuff, but not the rescue. Can you let me know please.

Hope E, Chris, Christine and John are all okish. I know Chris and Christine will be at work so I do hope they are gentle with you both. John, to be honest I dont know whether you do work or not. But hope things are okish with you and yours.

So far it has been a good morning. No hiccups, fingers crossed it stays this way.

Just had my hair cut , so I feel better for that...Karen I will go back this week about these patches...I just keep thinking maybe today will be better
Niamh has been to the doctors this morning, and the medicine for asthma seem to be working..but he still wants her to see a specialist
2 GDs here half term..they seem to be the only ones this week...

We have school until Friday but 1 is on a training day today. I have a lady coming round to review those respite payments already. I only got confirmation on July 6th and now it is already being reviewed. Well my boy is home so hopefully she will see him playing up as he hates strangers.

Tink I'm glad the asthma meds are working for your GD but she's still not right is she poor thing?

good news- I've got some OT for my Son via his school but I'm certain it will be a big help. Only problem is he will need collecting from school and it is quite a busy journey as right next to a hospital and just about the worst time for traffic build-up..

Well I'm off to have a cuppa. Review lady is coming about 3 ish.

Karen its nearly 6 weeks since I had my hair done..I thought it was early when the lady across the rd that takes me rang last night to remind me... she know i always forget
And i forgot today id the day to change the patch....what am I like...I will give them a few days them will go back..nothing on the injections yet...its scary how the trust in this area has gone...
only one GD here now the other has gone off with her friends..but the little one is happier staying in drawing and making things..gosh knows what hewr room looks like

Just a short one to let you know me and hubby are taking dil and Niamh to the hospital....the doctor has got her an appointment ..instead of the choose and book were she would have to wait...so she will see the specialist..and hopefully we will get to the bottom of this..

Barbara, I have my fingers crossed that this specialist can find the problem. It needs to be sorted doesn't it. Let us know how it goes wont you.

I'm afraid I've been lazy today, just couldn't get myself going this morning. Up at 4.30 and back to bed once they had all gone. And still feel wasted. Oh well, must try and motivate myself. Our big fish has died and I will have to get her out of the tank. Dont midn little ones but she is or was quite a size.

It is really miserable here, cold and damp. Hope everyone else has better weather. Look after yourselves and wrap up warm.

Niamh is back in hospital..the specialist wants her in for a couple of days just to do more test .....I felt so sorry for our Dil..she just broke down crying...she asked had she done something wrong ...and the lovely specialist said it was nothing she had had done , but sometimes these things happen and it could be in her genes.. and I must say the little thing was still smiling at everyone that came to into her room...
We might know something thing tomorrow

Karen no wonder you are tired..up at 4 30...its rotten when you cant sleep..or sometimes you do and still tired....pain can be so tiring...

Barbara, my heart goes out to your dil at the moment. But, the specialist is doing the best thing for baby. Please let them know that I am thinking of them and please let us know how little one gets on. Thank goodness you saw this specialist, he sounds nice, and wants to do his own tests to find out. Sending big comforting hugs to all in your family.

Dil has rang this morning...and she said they saw how bad her cough was last night...she had the nurse running around panicking...we know how to handle it but its awful to hear her...she will be having some test today...so here hoping
Karen I hope Hayley has gone in ok....she will have a break next week...but then it puts them off going back...well it does will our eldest GD
Today we will go and give Dil a break, my son has to work and his job is a bit iffy...but I can use one of there wheelchairs it such a long walk through the hospital..it will save me taking mine...
I do hope that everyone has had a good sleep..and will have a goodish day..

Barbara, I am glad they have now seen how bad her cough is. Lets hope these tests come up with something. It has been going on for a while now. And surely she must be coming up for her jabs. Barbara, I will always be there for anyone, I always believe that if I cant have a kind word well, I just couldn't do it. And you have just as much going on with you're family. Friends (whether seen or not) are very important. I really do wish we lived nearer to each other. All of you, I wish lived nearer.

Hayley went in again ok. Fingers crossed. Tony wonders whether she has suddenly realised that she has to really try herself for others to help her. I do hope so.

afternoon all or is it evening..im never sure when it starts..
The specialist has asked then to up the medicine she is having for the asthma...and it seems to be working..its like Ventolin in fluid form,,and they use a syringe to give it to her, its good to see her not coughing has much..
I hope you have all had a goodish day....I think the clocks go back next week...so I have give up waiting for an Indian summer but who knows we might get more sun in Autumn.....I have bought my first Christmas pressie...honest..but its for me.. an alarm clock that glows..then i can see the time in the middle of the night..I am rambling now...so I will see you later

Our Dil has just rang...its looking like Niamh has asthma...they have upped the meds and she is breathing better....its so scary having such a young baby with it.....neither her mum or daddy smoke..thank goodness or they would have blamed themselves...
I hope everyone slept wellish..I did but still having the vivid dreams even more so now I have these patches....
It is very cold here but dry..I dont mind wrapping up against the cold...

Barbara, thank goodness they think they have a diagnosis. I can well imagine how desperate all of you must have been feeling. And relieved that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, yesterday my neck and shoulder and arm were very painful, so bad I gave in, I put a patch on. It kept me awake most of the night and this morning my neck and shoulder is swollen. Why do things crop up at the wrong time eh. I have to take Hayley to her first appointment today. It's coming on for noon and I still haven't even got the washing up done. I HATE ARTHRITIS REALLY BADLY.

Hope everyone else is coping okish today sending you all love and hugs.

So much to read back. I really must get on here more often.

She was a really nice lady from Social Services but she warned me if I don't use the money I've got then it will get withdrawn. So she's given me some more pointers towards finding a carer. I want to get someone to take him out for an hour for a walk or swimming which he loves and is very good at-got an A in his school report.

I just need to put more groundwork in. The trouble is it has to be someone vetted and caring-I can't take any Tom, Dick or Harry.

Poor Niamh but at least they are investigating. What a struggle it has been for her. Tink it is lovely you go to the hosp to give her Mum a break but hope its not causing you any problems.

Love to the others. I think Coco is suffering and Christine is busy. It is half term for us so maybe Christine will get a much deserved break.

We Have just took our Dil to bring Niamh home...they have to see how she goes on her medicine...and if there are any probs they have a num to ring..so thats good having some backup..
It is sunny here but freezing cold, there was ice on the car this morning....I have my jumper and boots on..my GD thinks its hilarious...

Lovely to see you E. I really would have thought the lady from SS would have been able to point you in the right direction regarding getting people that have been vetted and such. Oh well, probably cuts again. Hope you do manage to find someone. Just wish you had help on this.

Barbara, really good news about baby. And, as you said they have a tel no they can ring if they are concerned. Lets hope that she picks up and just goes from good to better now.

No change with the neck and arm. The neck area is still swollen and even with the patch on I am still taken other pain killers. I suppose it will ease up soon.

Jope you all have a good day and hope that you are not suffering to much. Now the colder weather is approaching more and more we are all gooing to suffer eh.

Very cold here but at least the sun is shinning...sorry but I dont mind cold sunny autumn days...
Today we are painting...well I am..I have this cabinet that I want to paint cream and put gingham curtains in the little windows on it..so wish me luck

Good luck with the painting Tink. Sounds very rustic. I'm glad Niamh settled last nightand hope this medicaion helps. I was sick again last night because I get all blocked up and start coughing and sometimes I cough a bit too much. I'm using my inhaler more often on days like this and think the colder weather can make it worse. My daughter hates anyone having coughing fits incase we are sick!
